Mayors of North East, South East, North West, South West and Central Singapore Districts have been appointed for the new term from 31 May 2006 to 30 May 2009. The Swearing-In Ceremony will be held on Monday, 12 June 2006, 11 am at the People’s Association (PA) Auditorium, 9 Stadium Link, Singapore 397750. Mr Wong Kan Seng, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Home Affairs and Deputy Chairman of the PA, will preside over the ceremony. Your journalist and photographer/crew are invited to witness the swearing-in. Details of the programme are enclosed for your reference. Interviews with the Mayors can be arranged upon request.
