Do Good Fund

Here at Central Singapore, we believe that anyone and everyone can do good. Drawing from Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, which states that self-transcendence – going beyond oneself to help others find self-fulfilment and achieve their potential in life – is the highest level of growth beyond self-actualisation, Central Singapore CDC (CS CDC) aims to encourage doing good as a way of life amongst our residents, stakeholders and Singaporeans. We hope that everyone can look beyond themselves and reach out to the community around them. Every effort, big or small, goes a long way in making a difference in someone’s life.

We also know that embarking on a mission to do good can be a little daunting, especially if you’re unsure of where or how to start. That’s why we set-up the Do-Good Fund. Comprising funding support and opportunities to work with corporate and community organisations, the fund can help you kick-start your do-good journey, and hopefully inspire you to do more.

The Do-Good Fund provides an in-principle grant quantum of up to $10,000 or 80% of the total qualifying costs, whichever is lower, for community projects that create a significant, positive impact for a cause or current/emerging need. This includes, but is not limited to, creating awareness of a social cause, or coming up with solutions for a current/emerging need, or helping the needy or underprivileged. Successful applicants may also get opportunities to work with CS CDC’s community and corporate stakeholders.
