Background

My First Break (MFB) is a youth programme that trains and equip youths aged 15 to 21 studying or residing in South East District with the basic business skills and knowledge while giving them the opportunity to conduct their own micro businesses. They also get to broaden their horizons with the overseas learning trip.

Guided by experienced youth mentors and South East CDC officer, youths will break out of their comfort zone, form friendships, improve their interpersonal skills, and build up their confidence level. This programme also aims to inculcate a spirit of sharing and caring for the community.

"MFB really helped me to get out of my comfort zone and not be shy anymore. I get to interact with people of different ages and make new friends. The whole experience was fun and enjoyable. "
